Boardwalk offers all the practical advantages of an Engineered Timber floor whilst maintaining the
beautiful presentation of a conventional T&G(Tongue & Groove) hardwood timber strip floor.
Only the finest Australian species with maximum suitability for flooring have
been selected for the Boardwalk timber range,
based on visual beauty and practicality.
Boardwalk comes in long random lengths to provide the appearance of a traditional secret nailed timber strip floor.
5mm thick boards provide for future re-sanding equivalent to T&G strip flooring.
Boardwalk is sanded and finished after installation to ensure the end product
is flat, even and totally sealed.
This product is designed to go over minor imperfections and undulations.
However, such may result in a slightly different feel and resonance underfoot.
The Boardwalk process has been refined over many years of research and
development. The Boardwalk process is covered by an Australian patent No.2002301615.
This product is totally Australian made with the co-operation of some
of Australia's major manufacturers.

The 90mm hardwood boards are 5mm thick to allow for a lifetime of use.
The boards are bonded to a minimum 7mm thick plywood for a stable 12mm floor.
The floor is fixed to your substrate with
Selleys Liquid Nails Direct Stick adhesive, which provides a solid timber feel underfoot.

Boardwalk is finished with Feast Watson Maxithane
floor coating. Maxithane is a non-yellowing and durable coating manufactured by Orica, specifically to
provide a natural look.

Cleaning and maintenance products, manufactured by
Orica Wood Care, are provided with every floor, in addition to ongoing technical advice.
|
|
|
In cases where a moisture vapour barrier is required we use
Selleys Liquid Nails VBS, which, when used in conjunction with Selleys Liquid Nails Direct Stick adhesive,
provides a flooring system guarantee from
one of Australia's leaders in this field.

All products used in the Boardwalk process are Australian made and sourced exclusively through
Dulux Trade Centres.
