Spotted Gum -- Eucalyptus Maculata
Janka Hardness rating 11
A very durable specie. Spotted Gum transcends colour trends and is never out of fashion. Spotted Gum contains a
predominantly brown undertone, with olive hues, burnt orange and creams
with the occasional streak of blue grey. Although quite variable in colour, it
is this characteristic that makes it a safe and popular choice when home
owners are putting together colour schemes. It is super tough
and is used with confidence in high traffic applications, such as rumpus
rooms or games rooms.

Messmate -- Eucalyptus Obliqua
Janka Hardness rating 7.2
A moderately durable specie. Although
relatively light in colour, Messmate still exudes a warm tone. Its
blend of pale straw, light tan with pale pink undertones and soft back-sawn
grain, make the specie popular with home owners who require a more mellow and
neutral look in a timber floor. Both light and dark colour schemes (i.e. walls,
kitchen benches and furniture) will be complimented by a messmate
floor.

Victorian Ash - Eucalyptus (Regnans, Delegatensis)
Janka Hardness rating 5.5
A moderately durable specie. Victorian Ash is a blend of
Mountain Ash, (eucalyptus regnans) and Alpine Ash, (eucalyptus delegatensis). Due to its
quarter-sawn (straight) grain and relatively uniform colouring (pale straw
with subtle pink hues) Victorian Ash is often used where a modern, comtemporary
and minimal appearance is required. Due to its light tones, darker
borders can easily be integrated to highlight an entry foyer or formal
area.

Sydney Blue Gum -- Eucalyptus Saligna
Janka Hardness rating 8.1
A very durable specie. Closely
related to Rose Gum, Sydney Blue Gum displays much of the same
characteristics. However Sydney Blue Gum is more consistent in colour with an exquisite deep salmon tone.
Sydney Blue Gum has quite a coarse, back-sawn grain structure which
creates the illusion of movement and texture.

A moderately durable specie.
Blackwood has a very unique range of colour and varied grain structure. A
warm pallet of nutty browns, honey and orange hues and the occasional hint
